A concrete planter that weighs a quarter of a tonne is not a delivery, it is a lift. Access has to be checked before the truck arrives, the base has to be prepared so a run of them lines up, and the paving has to survive the placement.
We handle offloading, positioning, levelling, drainage and making good — and because we are a painting contractor too, colour matching and later recoating are done in-house rather than subcontracted.

Cape Town wind, UV and salt air are hard on lightweight planters. Concrete stays where it is put and weathers rather than fails — and the finish is where you make it look like a considered choice instead of a car park bollard.
Weight is the point. A concrete planter does not blow over in the south-easter, does not walk off overnight, and does not degrade in UV the way plastic and fibreglass do. Placement needs planning, but it is a fit-and-forget item.
The raw cast surface, left as it comes out of the mould. Honest, low-maintenance, and it weathers rather than deteriorates — the right choice where you do not want a repainting cycle.
Colour-matched to a building or scheme palette. As a painting contractor we do this ourselves, on site or before delivery, and we can come back and recoat as part of a maintenance programme.
The surface washed back to reveal the stone. More texture, hides marking and staining well, and reads as more considered than a plain off-shutter face at an entrance or reception forecourt.

Everything below is in the quote. You should not be arranging a crane, a bricklayer and a painter separately just to get planters standing level.

We source or cast the units, including made-to-spec sizes and finishes, and confirm lead times upfront.

Surfaces reinstated, planters cleaned down, site cleared, and a walkthrough with you before we leave.

Both. Concrete planters are heavy enough that offloading and placement is real site work — most clients take supply-and-install so one contractor handles delivery, positioning and making good. We will quote supply only if you have the plant to handle them.

Yes, and it is one of the more useful things they do. A heavy barrier planter stops a vehicle at low speed while reading as landscaping rather than security. Where a planter is doing barrier duty we specify the mass and fixing for it deliberately rather than assuming any planter will do.
Drainage holes are cast in. We also advise on the drainage layer and growing medium, because the most common cause of failed plants in concrete planters is not the planter — it is a waterlogged mix with nowhere to go.
Yes. We are a painting contractor as well as a builder, so colour matching is done in-house — on site or before delivery — and we can recoat them later as part of a maintenance programme.
We supply, place and prepare the planters including drainage and medium. Planting itself is usually handled by your landscaper, and we coordinate with them so the planters are ready when they arrive.
Regularly. We quote per phase so trustees can approve the spend, schedule around residents, and provide the documentation managing agents need for their records.
Our installation carries the same 12-month workmanship guarantee as the rest of our building work — if the bedding, fixing or making good fails in that time we come back and fix it at no charge. The planters carry their manufacturer terms, and we tell you what those are before you order.
