That experience spans a wide range of roles and projects, and it is what we bring to every job — a proper understanding of how buildings actually behave, and the judgement to know which solution will still be sound in ten years.

Close to 50 years in construction. There are very few building problems Yusuf has not already seen, priced and put right — which is why our advice tends to start with what is actually wrong rather than what is easiest to sell.

The person who quotes your job is the person who runs it, and the person who answers when you call. One of the two of us will be on your site — you are not handed to a rotating cast once the contract is signed.

Two working contractors, Yusuf Boomgaard and Nizaam Saban. Yusuf has close to 50 years in construction. Nizaam is a third-generation contractor. Neither is an office-based director — one of them will be on your site.
68 Projects Building Co was founded in 2019. The company is younger than the experience behind it: the two founders bring decades of combined construction experience from long before the business was registered.
Yes. NHBRC registration requires financial and technical vetting by an independent body, and it is a legal requirement for new home construction in South Africa. Our registration sits on a public register, so you do not have to take our word for it — ask us for the number and check it yourself.
The owner who quoted your job is the one who runs it and the one who answers when you call. You deal with the same person from the first site visit to the final walkthrough, rather than being handed to a project manager you have never met.
We work across Cape Town and the Western Cape — the Southern Suburbs, Northern Suburbs, Atlantic Seaboard, City Bowl and the surrounding industrial areas. If you are not sure whether we cover your suburb, get in touch; chances are we do.
Yes. Alongside residential renovations we work for body corporates, managing agents, facilities managers and industrial clients — planned maintenance, insurance and claims work, tenant fit-outs, common-area refurbishment and industrial coatings. Commercial jobs are quoted per phase so trustees and finance teams can approve them.
Yes. Any defect in our workmanship that shows up within 12 months of handover is fixed free of charge. That sits alongside four other written promises — a firm price, one accountable owner on the job, straight advice first, and a site left clean every evening — which you get in writing before any work starts.
